If you close your eyes and visualize twilight you see the fading of the day and the start of night, two opposites overlapping to create a unique moment. Conflict defines opposition, yet the engagement of two opposing properties creates an incredible energy.

I love to create, especially with clay! My work is a mix of functional and sculptural pieces inspired by nature’s vibrant colors, variety of textures, and endless examples of form. My interest in nature was sparked by my parent’s engagement with a family garden filled with seasonal vegetables and gorgeous flowers. Later, I attended UT Austin and was driven to paint the dynamic live oak trees that fill the campus. Now living in Keswick, VA, I am entranced by the changing seasons and the unique beauty each season holds.
